New York Times Travel Show 2011

I love attending The New York Times Travel Show - of course there was terrible weather, but really, what's new!  It almost works out better because spending an entire day in a convention center would be less fun when the sun is shining outside.  There were some great performances this year, including a very energetic Brazilian Capoeira School that featured a few different dance and musical styles from their mother land...Samba...Capoeira...and there was an added extra bonus...deliciously sweet caipirinhas were being served while we were watching some amazing foot work and drumming.  Brazil, how you always seem to call!
