Nashville, Tennessee isn’t coined “Music City” for nothing – Mickela discovers the traditions of American music & dance in this vibrant southern city, from line dancing to modern ballet to old-time buck dancing.

1. Wild Horse Saloon

Situated in the heart of historic Broadway, Wild Horse Saloon hosts nightly line dancing lessons and live music - a tourist favorite.

2. Electric Western

Hit East Nashville’s popular Five Points neighborhood every Monday night at The 5 Spot for a night of doo wop, Motown, swing, and oldies!

3. The Station Inn

One of Nashville’s gems, the Station Inn is a hole-in-the-wall, unassuming bar that is home to world-renowned Bluegrass and country musicians.

4. Nashville Ballet

Nashville’s premiere dance company is also a newly renovated dance school offering programs for children and adults. The company’s repertoire include seasonal pieces like The Nutcracker and the annual Attitude project, a collaboration with local musicians in Nashville.

5. Monell’s

“Enter as strangers, leave as friends” this family-style southern restaurant boasts skillet fried chicken and an array of dishes every day - be sure to come hungry!
